Lt. Col. John Martin Pretz, USAF, RET. age 60 of Manassas, VA died on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Joanne Pretz; his father Dr. James B. Pretz of Kansas City, Kansas; his children Katie and Chris Condon of Centreville, VA, Anne and Humberto Reboredo of New York, NY, Joanie and Cecil Johnson of Warner Robins, Georgia, John and Jessica Pretz of Gainesville, VA and Mark Pretz of Manassas, VA; his sisters Ann Faison of New York and Barbara Pretz of Kansas and by his grandchildren Clara and Meghan Condon, Humberto and James Reboredo.

The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 5:30 to 9:00 PM. where a rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M followed by a eulogy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church, 6720 Union Mill Road, Clifton, VA on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
